When parents hold a master's degree (or above) student visa or work visa, their children can apply for a student visa and go to school locally, enjoying free or discounted tuition. New Zealand's education system is highly regarded around the world!

Can I work part-time while studying abroad?

Most schools allow this after you turn 16! New Zealand student visas usually allow you to work 20 hours a week and full-time during holidays. This not only helps you to pay for your living expenses, but also helps you to accumulate local work experience, making it easier for you to stay in the country in the future!

Can I go directly to university?

If you are over 16 years old, you can first study in a bridge course or university preparatory class, which is a bridge course designed for international students. After completion, you can smoothly enter university. This is the most stable and reliable way to enter higher education in New Zealand. Please consult with the consultant of Jomelnz Education before making arrangements.

Yes you can!

You can apply for a 1-3 year post-graduation work visa. Many students find formal jobs through this opportunity and further apply for skilled immigration, moving towards settling down!
